Emu Boots

I have recently purchased a pair of Emu Stinger boots as my Uggs had fallen apart. The emu's are so much more comfortable than the Uggs and worked out 65 euros cheaper so happy out :D (180 euro for emu as opposed to 245 for Ugg)
Also got boot cuffs to go over them and change the look & colour, kinda like cardy boots when they are on.

Also Ugg Australia are made in China which put me off getting another pair of them tbh.

Just my 2c to people who are looking for these style of boots!

    * Not sure whether I should have added this onto the Ugg sticky thread or not... feel free to move if I have erred!

Hi dollybird, where did you purchase? Tempted to get a chocolate pair to replace my Uggs that haven't worn that well!

Matthews in Lavitts Quay have them. Was half tempted to buy a pair but hadn't heard of them before.

My Aussie cousin has been trying to convince me to buy a pair for months. She's been raving about them!

They are identical to uggs really but with an EMU tag at the back of the heel. Wear wise they are much more comfy and better fitting than Uggs and the stinger ones have a reinforced heel so no collapsed foot syndrome. I will never buy Ugg's again.

Emus are made in Oz, not in China like the Uggs.

I got a pair of Emu boots in TK Maxx last winter! I had spotted them, but they didn't have my size. So I waited and waited....and then just before Christmas (when the weather was really freezing) I got them! I remember walking up town holding on to the wall (to stop myself slipping on the ice!) on the way to get them.

Best boots ever! Never buying UGGs again.

Emu boots are amazing, I got mine in a sale from down from €126 to €36! I find they never leak in wet weather and they give my feet decent support.

For those that have Emus, did you buy a size smaller than you normally take? Thinking of buying direct from Emu and want to order the correct size.

I bought mine in my normal shoe size and they are perfect.

Does anyone know where I can get them in Dublin City, besides TK Maxx?

Thanks curly, I got a pair in Blush. They have a good selection but unfortunately they didn't have the protector spray so will have to source it online.
