    Great theme song.

I loved how the group of middle managers that always seemed to be on this show didn't seem to have one shred of common sense between them. They would go in to start the puzzle, having three minutes to do it and rather than getting stuck in they would spend the first minute and a half describing in detail everything in the room "I see a giant pendulum with the crystal inside, under it is a rope". Then they would spend the rest of the time frantically trying to do a puzzle that they no longer had time to complete. Finally, the team outside would tell them how much time was left too late for them to exit the room and they would get locked in. Classic, and it provides a perfect blueprint for the way a lot of the workplaces I have been in operate.

They lock you in rooms and force you to solve puzzles to escape?

Nah - you have to do puzzles in a certain time to get a crystal or the player gets locked in - more crystals = more time in the crystal dome

    Greatest quiz show ever :)

I was actually replying to the post above mine, not talking about the show itself :)

Sometimes :D Just lack of quick decision making. I remember sitting in front of the TV as a kid shotuing out what they should do. Part of what made the show so enjoyable.

I watched a couple of these on Challange in recent months around my in laws (an audience from 7 to 45) and I'd forgotton what fun they were. Of course it would be nothing without the musings of Richard O'Brien, also those 80s jump suits looked rather fetching on certain female contestants :)

Yeah, it just wasn't the same when Ed Tudor-Pole took over.

Caught one of the repeats recently and it featured some kids, they knocked the crap out of some adult teams if you're talking about crystal count.
