hey there,

long time lurker, first time poster here. just looking for some advice/information. have decided to buy an iphone and am considering buying second hand. when buying second hand - are there any ways of ensuring that the phone is legit (checking how old it is etc)? in your experience, are there particular questions that you would recommend asking before buying? it's unlikely that i will be able to meet up and check the phone personally so would be asking to post the phone.

any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

you can enter the seriel number into apples website and it tells you about remaining warranty etc.
