    hey guys im a student starting in UL and wanna get the low down on the pros and cons on the MANY institutions offering 'student accounts'

    any help appreciated

    Ulster Bank are offering 100 euro if you open a student account with them and use it regularly (they have rules about how much you have to use it, check out their website). They'll probably all be at Fresher's Week touting for business...

    I would also take a look at Bank of Ireland's and AIB's student accounts. There would be information about their student accounts and any offers/discounts etc on their websites. As pow pow said, they will probably be at freshers week too.
