    Print Fest 2010
You are invited to visit the National Print Museum to witness a traditional that has virtually disappeared. Printers from around the country will demonstration different aspects of the hot metal era. Type will be set by hand alongside practical demonstrations of the Linotype and Monotype and many other machines in the collection.

This is a unique occasion to see how newspapers, books and all kinds of literature were designed and printed before the computer revolution. Expert advice will be on hand to answer any questions and people will be able to do some printing for themselves. The Museum will be brought to life on this unique afternoon and visitors will get a rare glimpse of what a printing house was like 100 years ago. It will be a very enjoyable day for anyone interested in printing, bookbinding, design, newspapers, books etc. It will also be a chance for printers who now work with computers to relive their old printing days.
    2pm - 6pm, Saturday 11th September 2010
    Everyone welcome
    Free admission
