Any one use them for their tank? Are they better than say T5's? Expensive? Worth looking into?

I know they were/are expensive, unless they have come down in price recently. Not sure about how good they are, I have heard some people say they love them and others say they prefer T5's.

Depends on what you are keeping I suppose.

T8`s would be fine for Tanganyikan Cichlids.
