Who in After Hours humble opinion would win in a fight to the death between 42 UFC Fighters and a wild African Lion in its prime???

No weapons,
No time limit,
Unlimited space......

I will post my thoughts on it in awhile, just curious to see what everyone thinks.

Going on the far-fetched premise that all of the UFC fighters are willing to die for this ridiculous bet, I believe they would win, but only using strictly applied team tactics and with several deaths guaranteed.

there would be only about 4 deaths maximum and the 38 ufc fighters left would control the lion, in terms of tactics, i would nominate Brock lesnar to rear naked choke the lion while the rest of the fighters held the lion in place

This question came up randomly lastnight between me and my mates, If....in some far away land where no rules or common sense applied and this match was actually allowed to go ahead I believe the lion would destroy them all but one of my mates was adament that the UFC Fighters would win....just seeing what other people think.

How would you define "a win" ?

Certainly I'd expect at least 3 or 4 of the UFC fighters to get a serious mauling while the rest of them try keeping the lion down.

I doubt they'd be able to choke the lion out, his neck would be too wide.

As horrific as this sounds, their only chance would be to attack the lions eyes.

Punching a healthy 600 pound lion in the jaw would be like a grown man getting a punch from a toddler. Kicking the lion square in the face would just piss it off.

I think if the 42 ufc fighters had a well worked out plan to rush & restrain the animal How would they kill it? Strangle it?

I think human nature (which is the brain saying; jesus christ run, run away from this clawed killing machine. run fast) would be our downfall & the giant cat would wrestle each man one by one to the ground, fatally wounding or killing each opponent with precision teeth work & would inevitably win.

Lion wins. Just about. If it was 2 lions, no contest.

If the UFC fighters all worked together, I'd go with them with about 20 dead/injured.I'd imagine though that after seeing a bunch of them get ripped apart, a lot would start to run away and the lion would win

Also if it was a situation where it was an alpha male lion & he thought these ufc fighters were a threat to the pride, the lions fight-to-the-death protective instincts would kick in & may god have mersey on the lads.

Its been recorded that male lions can kill gigantic african buffalo's that can weigh near 1 metric ton so i reckon a human being would be very easily dealt with.

Half of these ufc fighters would probably leg it after seeing the other half of the group being mauled. I would.

Again instinct would dictate the outcome. Lion: Kill. Human: run away.

I think the UFC fighters would die, the lion would be celebrating his victory and then Trent would come and give the lion a scissor kick to the back of the head and kill it, Trent said it himself it would kill a lion.

I'd see the lion winning because - if any of the fighters get any form of a bite from a lion there out for the rest of the fight...

unless the UFC fighters could time jumping on the lion all at once they won't have a hope...

any of the fighters holding the lions mouth would be mauled and then the lions free head would give it enough momentum to break free I'd say

I just can't see how the lion would loose as once the first couple of Fighers were taken out then the reduced number of fighters would be on the underfoot against the lion..

I dunno how the fighters would manage to kill or disable the lion so eventually the lion would get free and a swipe from an angry lion would kill anyone so the lion would win whatever way the fight went

Any of the humans that recieved a bone crushing bite, in the leg, arm, head is fcuked. Massive blood loss would immediately disable the victim within seconds.

If the ufc guys had basic weapons like knives & swords yes they would eventually kill the lion but just using bare hands not a chance.
