    Great morning for flying this morning, after a really chilly start (2°C!). I took a few photos over Meath, west of Trim.

    The thermals were just starting to get going (0930am), and were felt below 1000ft, above 1000ft was dead smooth.

    Great pictures Su - thanks! As an archaeologist I'm always interested in aerial photos. If you ever notice any interesting crop marks etc please ket me know.

    Will do. Actually I did see some sort of weird mound somewhere near Summerhill this morning, but I can't remember where exactly. Didn't get a photo, maybe next time.

    But here are some of Newgrange and Knowth (or is it Dowth??!!).
