Seen this trap a few weekends ago...it's like a big cage say 18 by 5 feet by 6 feet high. the top of the cage is like a V, birds enter the cage on top of it at the narow part of "v". can't remember the name of this trap

Ladder trap/Letterbox trap/Australian crow trap.

Similar large cage traps include variants of the funnel trap and also a net top type trap.
