    Hi All,

Looking to get a high gloss kitchen in Cork and I have been doing some shopping around. Prices are coming in at between 10k - 15k for the hi gloss including quartz worktops.

The query I have is differentiating between these quotes, should I go with foil or painted doors? how do I identify real quality and what should I expect to pay for this?

I would appreciate some "independant advise".

    Thanks

the painted doors do look better as some foil/pvc versions can have a kind of wave effect in them, like the surface doesn't look smooth or have an orange peel effect.there shouldn't be a huge price difference though so you you should consider what the quality of everything else is-drawers,hinges pull out systems etc.which one will last longer has alot to do with the care people take of their kitchen, foil could possibly lift but this mainly happens to vinyl pvc doors, haven't heard it happening to high gloss pvc yet anyway.

Thanks FM - can't make up my mind what to go with. Do people generally think a stainless steel hood is better in a hi-gloss kitchen or an integrated extractor?
There are so many things to consider!

Never thought getting a new kitchen would be this difficult.
