storing apples

    Anyone know a good way to keep apples from rotting. I have about a hundred on the trees in my garden that are ready to pick.

    Well the trick is to keep your best apples till last. So use damaged apples first. The link below has a few different ways to store

    wrap each one up individually in newspaper and store in cool, dry and dark place. Any damaged apples should not be stored. Perhaps check them a month in so you haven't missed one!

    Do you know what cultivar it is ... Is it suitable for making apple Juice?
