Airsure Delivery Time?

    Hi,

I'll be ordering a package from Lancashire in the UK on Tuesday 31st August when I return home from a trip (I'm a bit paranoid about using my credit card online when abroad :)), and it's coming by Royal Mail Airsure. I'm just trying to work out delivery time. I live in Dublin and the seller has guaranteed me a one day turnaround from ordering, so it should be posted on Wednesday. I was just wondering, can I expect it before Friday 3rd? Or should it arrive early next week? Are packages from the UK normally delayed long in customs? It's just a few items of clothing. I need it by Friday 10th September at the very latest.

    Thanks

There are no customs between UK and Ireland, or anywhere in the EU, unless there's something suspicious about the package, or it's something that attracts extra excise.

Delivery times will vary from 2 or 3 days to over a week. You can track it anyway, to see where it is and when.

Should not take any longer than a week.

As Jor El says above, there are no customs between eu countries.

At least if you know someting is being sent Airsure you can track it online. Tracking on mail from the UK to Ireland is quite good (as opposed to the other way round, which is diabolical)

If it is longer than a week I would be querying it tbh

Ok cool thanks and I'll need to be there to sign for airsure won't I? Does anyone know what time they normally deliver or does it just depend on what time your normal postman comes at?

Yes you need to sign for it, and it comes with the normal post. If it's a large package though, it may come as a van delivery, which could be separate, depending on your location.

I am never at home so get all my packages delivered to work, the receptionist signs for most of them. I am pretty sure it comes with normal post, I got tickets via airsure before.

    AIRSURE needs no signature

I've signed for Airsure on numerous occasions. I think it's because most of the post workers here don't realise you don't need a signature.
