Lyon to Grenoble - travel options?

    Hi all,
    Am trying to figure easiest way from Lyon airport to Grenoble. My hotel is beside Grenoble train station. Can't figure if I should take bus, local train, tgv. I don't care about the cost (but not taxi!), convenience is the priority. Any experience with this trip greatly appreciated.

    Lots of trains, more than one an hour, nearly all of them from Lyon Part Dieu station. Journey time about 75-90 minutes. I found this info on http://www.voyages-sncf.com/billet-train.

    I was trying to avoid going into Lyon city (Part Dieu station) if possible. But not sure thats possible.

    I didn't notice that it was from the airport you wanted to make the journey, and that is a bit of a game changer, because it's a bit of bother getting into the city. I found this: http://www.faurevercors.fr/LR_SATOBUS.html, but didn't dig in too deeply. Maybe you can find a bus that suits.

    I am here now and posting this followup for those who may search for it later...
    It turns out that the TGV goes through Lyon airport every 3 hours or so, but the bus is every hour at half past the hour. 22 euro one way and takes 1 hour.
