    Hi there,

Really want to get onto a tag rugby team, have never played before, read an article on it and it sounds like great craic. Would anyone know where I would begin? I have no clue... I live in Dublin 6w and would be looking for a team that plays any evening in the Dublin 6 region, i have a car so i can go further afield if needs be. Does tag rugby even run in the autume/winter time? Does it cost to join a team? i'm clueless on this sport so please if you have any advice i'd much much much appreciate it!!!!

    Thanks

It might be worth your while looking into touch rugby - I did it this summer and really enjoyed it. It runs in Terenure (as far as I know) so you won't be too far from it. The website is www.touchrugby.ie. They tend to be a bit chaotic about updating it, but once the indoor touch league gets going there should be something up there.

Astro are running 2 leagues on Tues/wed in Wesley in ballinteer and St Andrews in Booterstown starting in 2 weeks. You could contact them about joining their free agents section as I am sure there are teams always looking for players. http://www.astro.ie
