You can't tell if any are any good. It varies hugely with location, time of day, can change weeks later. It's not Broadband. O2, Vodafone, 3 and Meteor Mobile "Broadband" isn't Broadband. It's variable speed "Dialup" over the Mobile Phone system. Mobile Internet. Speed is 0.05Mbps to 5Mbps. It can refuse to connect or disconnect if 4 or 5 people are watching YouTube and there are a number of phone calls on the part of mast you can receive.

You have to try them all (at 6pm to 9pm to be sure). Even if OK it can go bad later when more users are in your area.

    For further explination:
    see http://www.radioway.info/comparewireless/

    and http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055442502

It could "tide you over" for a month if you get a Pay as you go Modem and SIM, till your real Broadband is fixed. It's handy for Mobile, "On the Go" use (clue is in the name).
