I was just wondering, does anyone have any tips on what to wear to an interview, what attitude to have, any specific things to say etc?
Had a few interviews this past year and not got them, probably because of the current economic climate, but just wondering.
My last job, crap pay and crap job but it was my first, took me 3 years of job hunting to get so hoping to get some advice on getting, an office job preferably, with good pay within say the next year.

    Thanks

There's a useful sticky called Handy hints for the interview at the top of the Work & Jobs forum.

Might be a useful start in finding the info you want.

Try "The Interview Book" by James Innes as well. I am looking at moving jobs and some great info in there. Worth a read. Most libraries should have it or €7on bookdepositry.co.uk with free shipping.

Preperation is the key with any interview.

Focus on your strengths mainly and you can also turn weaknesses into strenght if you are doing things to improve on your weaknesses. The book explains this very well.
