If anyone would be kind enough to review http://www.skuzziport.com, we'd be grateful for any suggestions of things to improve.

None of us are coders, so we're limited to what we can improve within the backend of Wordpress, and the theme, atahualpa.

The main thing we're looking for is that visitors to the site can easily listen to the music, watch a video or two and find out when the next gig is... and if they want to sign up to the mailing list that they get their two free mp3s.

All of that works in testing, but we're interested to see if it's just as easy for new visitors to navigate through the site.

    thanks

I would consider changing the colour of the bright yellow music bar at the bottom. Also, maybe have a margin on both sides of your site. Having text and images go all the way out to the edge only works with certain designs (like boards :P) The navigation is quite simple and straight forward. I'd consider looking into an online store or showing your products somewhere online and maybe even having online payment. People are usually much more likely to buy something online if they don't have to interact with a person and if it's very straight forward and quick.

    Thanks for the constructive comments.

The yellow music player is there that colour so that it's easily spotted, but I observed a few people using the site today and they didn't notice the player at all - so gonna go back to the drawing board there.

Not sure how to do the borders on both side (in fact I'm not even sure how to reel in the text box where you sign up to the mailing list - it's elongated in some browsers!).

The shop certainly needs improvement - comments noted. At the moment, we are using the form to see what people are interested in, and they all want little Skuzzis!!

I've fixed up that music player, and balanced out the borders with a bit of content on each side, I much prefer it, thanks!

Won't be doing any work on the shop for a while - too much going on at the moment trying to get ready for the big gig this Friday at the picnic!
