They have a flexirent option which I don't really appeal to me as I want to own the product at the end of the finance term

O2 Experience shops had finance available; I don't know if this is still the case anymore.

To be honest; you will probably get better rates of APR from a bank than a credit deal from a shop as well as more flexibility from same. While credit is slower than it used to be, it's not by any means impossible to get so OP, try your branch first.

As an aside, Apple take Laser online as payment if a credit card payment is the issue.

Didn't O2 drop all Mac sales completely a few months back? I'm pretty sure they did but I'm nowhere near any of their stores any longer to check.

    Sham.

Emailed them about it. You have to pay 20% up front and the rest is interest free over 12 months. You have to bring in photo id, a recent bank statement and a utility bill. It takes 10 days for the finance to come through and then you can collect the goods. Will be availing of this in the coming months

Cheers, usually same price but sometimes these places have a clearance model or older models.
HMV are doing one at the moment for 999 but don't think its the current model.
    Spotted it on Grafton street.
    Thanks for the reply.

Sorry for not getting back on this, bit of a long story.
Decided to get my sis to get iMac for me on the apple refurb site (as she has her own businees so gets the vat off)
    Picked a 21.5" core 2 duo, 500gb hd etc.
Got it delivered, all looked great, they really are a fantastic looking machine.
After bootup there was some weird static noise coming from the right hand speaker.
To cut a long story short, rang apple, harware problem and courier took it back next day.
Because it was a refurb they couldnt replace it so put the money back on the card.
I was so p'd off so decided to give arnotts a go.
I went in last week with passport, bank statement and some bills etc.
Guy from the electrical dept was sound, brought me up to the office in Arnotts and the girl took my details, never looked at either my passport or my bills?
Anyway, paid the 20% deposit and am just waiting to get a call now to collect.
It is 12 months interest free.
I ended up going for the 21.5" i3 model for 1229.
Will update if and when I get the call to collect.
    Fingers crossed.

Just a follow up question: as for the 12-month payments, is the remaining balance divided equally by 12 or do you have to pay small amounts for 11 months and then a lump sum on the 12th month?

    Thanks.
