    Anyone signed up for it?

As a third year (of games) (and one of the 8 or so left), I do love the course even if it is still a bit all over the place. Hopefully it's all sorted out organisation wise now for the 1st and 2nd years.

If anyone has signed up, you interested in videogames or music?

This is the course that I'm planning on doing, also videogames. Did it live up to your expectations? I've heard some good things about it but I'd like to hear it from someone who is studying it. And in what sense is it disorganised?

    A few things:
-Some of the software(game engines) which we used in 2nd year was useless. This is now sorted, they are using Unity which was good.
-Despite WIT being the only institute in Ireland with PSP dev kits, we only got 1 semester's use out of them, and it was more about learning C than psp programming. This has also been changed.
-Filler subjects were a frustrating waste of time, we should have been programming instead.
-When we started, software wasn't installed and it took a while to get into subjects, because lecturers also were new to it.

With all this said, it's a non-issue now, teething issues with the start of a new course

In 2nd year at the moment the only problem I have had is the filler modules and one terrible lecturer 80% class failure rate, nothing done about it and getting the same lecturer this semester what a joke.
