Can I still use my old Sky box?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I had Sky plus installed a while back and still have the old original sky box knocking around. Is it possible to still use this independent of the Sky plus box? Like as a free to air box? If it is possible, could I connect it to the existing sky dish or would I need to use a free to air…

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I had Sky plus installed a while back and still have the old original sky box knocking around.

Yes, you can. You will have to run a cable from one of the free sockets on your quad lnb to whichever room you will have the old box in.You will then get the UK epg on the box which you can use without a card.
