Another casualty of the hackers perhaps - last activity 19/1/10? Used to be a great contributor to the classics section here.

I think he's still on here with a new ID;)

Old Junkyard thread about early W126s...http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055790035

Ali Babba's post in New Car Coplexity thread

"I have a 1979 Mercedes 280 SE that I intend to run for the next 30 years or so, it's a 126 series, probably the last decent car Mercedes ever made. So far i've scrapped six others for parts, the newest one being a 1992 model. So as well as being able to upgrade my 79 model I have two good shells too in case the rust takes a hold."

Is there no internet in France?? :D Ironic ...

...that's what I was thinking too, leave the country yes, but is it even possible to leave the internet ?

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Junkyard fecked off in January, no activity on his account since. My guess is he's trapped in the boot of a Renault and gets fed through the keyhole.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,042 ✭✭✭Grimreaper666

Or maybe Renault actually got rid of him........ He really did have issues with them and shur you know what the French are like, Rainbow warrior and all that.;)

Im not entirely convinced of this..;) :D
You even add attatchments to your posts the very same way junky did.
Is his/your old TPI reg hearse still knocking around?

I dunno - they have Minitel:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minitel

If he is in France, the number of older ladies writing cheques at the top of the supermarket queue will definitely make him lose his mind :p

There is something very ironic about him moving to the home of Renault....

Yes it is still around... could do with a bit of a polish at this stage though :D
