    How ye going.....

    1. I am looking for some handheld radios for use at events and things up the mountains.

    2. I would be like to know if anyone knows where I can get some new/used radios in Ireland/England that are fairly cheap.

    3. I am also wondering which woud be better UHF or VHF for the outdoor enviroment.

    TN.

Unless you have a licence you can only use PMR446.

You might consider hiring the radios for your events. A quick check on goldenpages.ie brought up this company:

I've never dealt with them. I'm sure there are others out there.
