I ran 2 cables from the sky plus box TO 2 LNBS on the sky dish.
HOW do i connect up tv 2 in bedroom to the sky plus.DO i just run coax cable from rf2.
i want to use the 2nd tuner to watch say sky movies ,while my friend watchs channel 4 .IS IT POSSIBLE to watch 2 channels at the same time,on 2 different tvs, without using the record function.

You need to run the cable from the back of the box marked rf2 to the room you require. Then connect a magic eye and tune in the tv.

You will not be able to watch two different things at the same time, whatever you watch on the first tv you will be watching on the second tv.

If i recorded sky movies, could i watch channel 4 in room 1, and watch skymovies, in room 2, IE CONNECT TV in room 2, to tuner 2, skyplus has two tuners.

    Nope.
you could put in another STB in the bedroom (as well as having the feed from the sky + box) and connect it up to the dish,

If you want multi-room viewing, you have to pay for it.

not if you use a freesat box.

you can watch ch4 in the bedroom and sky movies in the main room.

Didn't know that, so you can watch Sky movies 1 in bedroom and Sky movies 2 in the main room.

Then why would anyone pay for multi-room?

    no
what i said was you can watch ch 4 on one and sky movies on the sky box.

with a freesat box you can watch bbc1,2,3,4,itv1.2.3.4.hd ch4 ch5 and a good few others.

if you want to watch 2 different pay channels you need Multiroom.

No, if you add a freesat box you can watch a free channel (i.e. channel 4) in one room and a sky channel in another room. The only way to watch 2 different pay channels in 2 different rooms is to pay for multiroom, period.

i,m paying for multiroom, now, i want to watch tv from the rf output of the skyplus, in room 2, without putting another skybox in room 2.room 2 is upstairs.

I have another skybox downstairs.i dont wanna have to run another cable, upstairs.

How are you paying for multiroom with only 1 sky box? You have to have another plus box upstairs and to have recorded on it to watch whatever you wanted recorded as far as I know if you want to watch separately from downstairs.

    Try one of these http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=48704
You still have to watch the same thing that's on the main box but at least no cables to run.
