Can i update my 3.1.3 3gs

Unlock:Ultrasnow
Blobs saved on Cydia

Is there a way to upgrade to 4.0.1 as the new firmware is out as I need my unlock as it is at&t simlocked.

make sure it says 4.0.1 is saved in cydia, then download it here

I'm in the same position as the OP.

Is that advice relevant for upgrading ? It seems to be about restoring your software to a previous version. I've never tried anything like this before so I'm confused .
I should say that I have never used 4.0.1 so I have no SHSH blobs for it. Although Cydia says it has SHSH blobs saved for 4.0.1 . Again confusion

it says on cydia that this device as shsh on file for 3.1.3,4.0 & 4.0.1. How is this possible when 3.1.3 is the most recent firmware i have ever used.

when ya save it to cydia, it also saves it for newer firmware, i didnt know that until recently,

i read the post wrong yesterday but ya should be able to restore to any firmware once ya have blobs for it, it shouldnt matter what FW ya had before hand

You can just download the 4.0.1 firmware and do a shift restore. Apple arn't signing the blobs anymore, but you can always downgrade back to 3.1.3

saurik server will constantly get the new blobs just using your serial number, you don't need to do anything on once you click make my life easier

I am using 3.1.3 and have never used a later OS.
Yet Cydia says it has blobs on file for 4.0 and 4.0.2 .

Can I still restore to 3.1.3 with these blobs ?

unless cydia says it has the shsh blobs for 3.1.3 you cant downgrade to it, you can however restore to 3.1.3
