    Hi,

I have a few questions about doing a PGCE in the University of Ulster for Primary School teaching. I looked through the stickies etc. but I didn;t really find what I was looking for so hopefully someone can help.

    Here goes...

    1) If you do a PGCE in Primary Teaching in NI, what else do you need to do to qualify to teach in a Primary School in the Republic?
    2) How hard is it to get into the PGCE course in the North?
    3) Will I have to pay fees or can I have them paid for me?
    4) I am currently working, if I apply for a maintenance grand will this be calculated on my current salary or how does that work for mature students?

Any help to clear the confusion would be appreciated!

    Thanks.
