Would anyone know the method for removing a tap head that looks like this?
I need to get in there to replace a washer.

I think you can simply remove the cap by prising it with a blunt knife, screwdriver or similar around the blue identifier. Then use a screwdriver to remove the screw and lift the tap head off.

I did prise the cap off and found a screw. Undid the screw but its still connected very tight. I could give it a good yank but wanted to know if thats all it was or is there some hidden catch before I break somthing that can leak. Thanks for your response, Id like to hear from any others.

You prise off the cap, take out the philips screw then pull off the head.

You can buy the brass spindle in many shops but a plumbers providers is prob best. Woodies and home base do them.

yes its probably tight so use a strong flat head screwdriver to prise the head off the spindle.
