Does location services cost to use it? The dilemma is that im on prepay and dont really want to turn this on if I have to pay the 99c per day data charge? But when im in a wifi area and try to use some websites it wont let me access them unless I turn this on first. Any info glady appreciated.

i think it runs off the internal GPS function.
im just back from Turkey where i had my mobile/roaming data turned off but yet all my photos are still geo-tagged.

Location Services runs off the GPS free but you may incur a charge depending if an app such as Maps is using it.
