ITM Cup - Cantabury v Auckland - shown on Setanta Ireland!

    It has to be a mistake surely, because I am almost certain Sky have the Irish rights, and Setanta had NRL in their schedule, but Setanta Ireland showed (at least the second half of) the ITM Cup match between Canterbury and Auckland this morning! No presentation other than the domestic (Sky New Zealand) presentation.

    Very wierd though, it wasn't in the schedule and after a short filler they crashed back into NRL Super Saturday just before 10:30am.

    As for the match itself, only saw the second half, but Canterbury ruled the roost as far as both possession and scoring was concerned. They won most kickoffs and Auckland just kept giving the ball away. Controversial late try by Auckland when they appeared to take a quick penalty by just picking up the ball and running it over the line, but they were never going to come back at that stage anyway.

    Strange alright, I watched a Sky feed online for the game - it was a real cracker and as you say an 'interesting' try at the end by Auckland. Won a few Euros too - easy money to be had on more than 20.5 points in the first half @ 11/10 and Canterbury by more than 5 points at 10/11. :D
