OK, i did a year of a course, and decided it wasn't for me. Now i'm going to take a year out and work for a while, but i am planning to go back and reapply for the CAO next year. It depends on which course and college you do.
For example arts in UCD is €5,780, while medicine is €8,858. So it really varies hugely, and you'd need to contact the college to find out for sure.
