So what actually happens on orientation week? I figure there will be the first get together of everyone in your class, lecturer gives a speech of some sort, but then what?

Fresher's week consists of:

1) Joining societies/sports clubs
2) Going to an introductory lecture where you're given your schedule
3) Registering (this one's important)
4) Meeting new people (from your course?)
5) Getting free **** from societies / SU
6) Nights out and having fun!
