hello, im starting 1st year ag science in september and im just wondering if someone could give me an idea of what it's like?
-is there a lot of work involved
-what are class sizes like, is there more boys than girls in course
-what time do lectures finish everyday
-are the biology, chemistry, physics modules difficult

I am also interested in this too. I'm starting in September also. From what I understand from talking to people who have completed this course the content is not difficult to comprehend but the amount of information can be overwhelming unless who selectively choose the extra reading material required. And looking forward to seeing you soon Gladiators.

Whats the Agricultural Science course at UCD like? Such as Animal Science or Agri Business?

How did the previous posters on this thread think of it so far?

Any experience of it would be helpful!

Ros is actually retired unfortunately, naoimh o'reagan is the advisor now in place.
Im 3rd year agri environment and as the above advice go to all labs and tutorials and you'll be grand. I found 1st year very daunting doing subjects like chemistry and physics but they really are very managable and exam papers very repetitive thankfully, although the course is changing a lot as the points are going up. Think AES as the smallest number of students but agri-business is also small number, their all together for the most part anyway :)
