CA36k FPS Problems

    Hi,

I just got a new inner barrel and metal hop up unit for my CA36k.

    These parts here:
    Inner Barrel:

    Hop Up:

The problem i'm having is that when the hop up is completely engaged the BB barely comes out the end of the barrel.

With the hop up off it doesn't go very far, about 20-25meters.

Before i upgraded it i hadn't used it in a long while because the plastic hop up i had before had broken, but it still fired grand then. It's been in storage since that happened which was in around March.

Any idea's? All other parts are stock besides those 2 parts.

EDIT: Also it seems to double feed every once and a while.

take hop unit, rubber and barrell apart again and re do it incase you slipped up sumwer.might be worth your while getting a new hop rubber to go with your very tight barrell and make sure you use good quality bbs with it aswell,it will jam very easy.
if i put my hop on full no bbs come out, they jam and risk stripping the piston.

had same peoblem with my king arms 24" free float, bren at fingal airsoft told me what craic is,when using anytime of percesion barell,u have to use high quaitly bbs,EXAMPLE i put rapotors in the gun,jam up like a mofo, put excel or blasters thru it then it firing like the animal piece of kit that it is.also the post above has good point, make sure the "nub" as not slipped or at odd angle

Definitely would reccomend a new, soft hop up rubber. I sude to get the same problem with a hopup because the rubber wasn't soft enough, so I had to push it down loads to get any distance however if I went the slightest bit too far the BB wouldn't shoot. Also, listen to the guys about the precision BBs. After investing in the tightbore it's worth investing in high precision BBs to make sure you get the accuracy you're capable of, aswell as making sure they won't jam.
