I was out lamping last night lads using a piece of polysterin and a pale of glass to make a rabbit noise. I was doing this for a while when something started calling back at me. Im nearly sure it was a mink as it was calling from a nearby drain as well. He was a bit to shy when the light went on.:D

Was it a kind of a 'yip' sound TBF? As in ' yip, yip, yip,' continuesly??

It sounded the very same as the growl a mink has when he is caught in a trap. Sounded nasty and when we turned the light on he stopped and didnt show himself! There was plenty of foxes about but they wouldnt come in for the gun. They were all over 200 yards away and Im only shooting a .22lr. Need to get myself a wigeon wistle and the bright night didnt help either.
