Playing Millicent for the first time tomorrow, searched back and not a lot of threads about it. Any opinions/advice for me? A quick guide would be nice!

Have played it alot and it really took a while to grow on me. But it is a nice course. Not special like Druids Glen or Carton or the like - but a very nice 'second-level' course. Well worth a visit.

Opening holes are both par fives, with OB all down the right of the first and the second being a high-index 'reachable' one. I find the par threes are possibly the most enjoyable holes on the course with the 17th over water being particularly challenging (It's about 185yds off whites IIRC)... The closing holes, 16, 17 & 18 are three nice holes really and the greens are very good.

Good course, need to keep it left on pratically the entire front nine with out of bounds and the liffey on the right for first eight holes.
Par threes are top class, good finishing holes
