Does anyone know what the story is regarding restrictions as to where you can work afterwards if you don't pick a certain subject?

I've decided to go with tax.

From the work I do I think it'll be the most suited, and it gives the option of doing the chartered tax consultant course, although i'll have to read up a bit more if I opt to do that ahead of the institue of taxation one.

As far as i'm aware you can do the other electives in following years as part of CPD if you wish.

The audit one is neccesary to obtain an auditing certifictate, so if you're hoping to open your own practice you'll need that at some stage!
