    Hi!

I know it's NOT the same as golf, but does anyone know if there's a place in town you can play pitch n putt? You know, just pay an play, and not have to be a member?

    Thanks :)

I know this isnt town but the closest I can think, One in Finglas, its very nice, well kept. Its on Tolka Valley road . there is also one at Elm Green, just beside castleknock, just off the Navan Road. but of them you can just turn up and play. not sure about the Tolka one but for the Elm green one ya can get the 38 and 37 that way.

44/48A Bus from the Screen cinema in town brings you to GolfWorld (i.e Stepaside/Kilternan area) where you'll find a pitch and putt course, 3 x Par 3 courses, 2 x 9 hole golf course (Stepaside public and Glencullen) and a very highly equipped driving range. Pitch and putt is around 7euro, Par 3 from 8-10euro and Golf from 15euro for 9 holes (might need to book ahead for the golf but anybody can play).

Boards.ie, where everyone knows where town is :D

Pitch n' Putt course in Ballyfermot/Chapelizod.

78A bus will get you there. Ah the 78A, you may need those clubs! 79 will get you most of the way there also
Dublin city council opened a new clubhouse this year, realy impressive.

Nearest to the city-centre are probably CYMC/LC in Fairview or Ierne across from Tolka Park. Both are members' clubs but probably accept green fees too. You'd find phone numbers for them on www.ppui.ie
