Here's a poster for the course.... if you can I'd really appreciate it if you could put a poster up in your workplace or local shop.

    Thanks

I like the slogan "Reduce the Odds", bit more realistic than a lot of other advertisements. "Become a killing machine!", etc ;)

On a side note, probably doesn't matter but there's a grammatical error on the first line of the second paragraph. "Learn how fight".

Best of luck with the course!

Thanks Flynny51, I'll fix it for the next batch of posters :o

Our course is very different to others available, it's designed specifically for women and deals with rape and sexual assault.

We don't want to turn women into killing machines.... we just want to keep them safe! :)

I'm very supportive of Women learning self defence but if my wife was attacked as you describe then I'd be much happier if she was a killing machine. I'm not sure what benifet a 6 week course is but I guess its better than nothing. Would you not run it long term? How much does it cost?

    Edit: just noticed the cost.

thefizz - anyone who advertises a course that turns a woman into a 'killing machine' is lying... there are no secret or magic techniques.

Our course teaches women to use their best weapons against a bigger males weakest targets... its also a very educational course, learning how not becoming the victim of an attack is the most important part.

I understand but I just don't see what 6 hours of training/instruction will do if its not on an ongoing basis.

The soft skill learned in a course like this will stick with you forever, the hard skill will need honing if that's what the person wants to, but as you can see these guys cater for several styles of martial arts.

Of course, none of that is primary to the craic and the social aspect of such courses. Any course that gets someone up of their arse for a bit of training is to be welcomed in my opinion.
