Starting TCD

    I just got accepted for TCD and have a few questions if anyone can help.......

    1) I've applied for Trinity Hall, does anyone have any idea when I'll hear back from them to find out if I got a place there?

    2) When should we expect to get our orientation packs?

    I don't know anything about Trinity Hall, but my Orientation pack came this morning, and a friend of mine got his about two or three days ago, so yours should hopefully come along maybe Monday or Tuesday.

    With regard to trinty hall I'd say applications will close a day or two before the first round cao offers close. After that they'll evaluate all the applications and a list of all people accepted will be posted on the Trinity Hall website. They usually just post student numbers so it can take time to try and spot your own! If your number is on the website then a formal offer will come in the post a few days after. I'd say the list of accepted applicants will be up sometime next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday.

    5pm on Tuesday they're putting up a list about the people who've accomm in Halls. And they e-mail you too, I think...
