When and how do I get my student number?

    In my orientation pack there are the fees forms. I want to get these posted away as soon as possible but they ask for my student number. Can I only get this number during freshers week? If so then I have a problem as they say 'Registration cannot take place until the relevant forms are returned.....with the appropriate fees' Can I use my CAO number?

    Please help asap as I really want to get this all dealt with, the people who give out the grant are extremely slow and the quicker I get in the quicker the grant gets paid. Thanks

    Your CAO number is your student number.
