    Hi can someone identify this caterpillar. There are 10 of them together eating oak leaves.

    Can't see that much detail in the picture as its a bit out of focus, but it may be a Buff-tip. They also eat oak leaves.

    Thanks for the identification improbable, I think you are 100% correct. I have since taken other photo's some of which are better and will post another this evening.
