I have a book of matches from the gresham hotel, it looks fairly old and would like to know what year there from if anyone can help.

the telephone no. has 5 didgits, when you open the book it boasts a radio in every room.

I would have thought a 5 digit telephone number exsisted up to the late 1970's in Irealdn - open to correction on that.

The radio in every room part makes it sound of 1960's at the latest but could be as early as 1940's. I would not have thought too many 5 digit numbers in Ireland going back to or before the 1930's but again open to correction on that.
