    Hello,

Hope this is the right forum,

Just curious in finding out which language people would consider better to be able to speak in the business world.

I have the option to take up a new language as part of my business course but am torn between either French or German.

    All opinions welcome :)

I'm biased because the company I work for is German but I have heard alot of other companies with German execs too so thats where i'd go

The international language of business is english.

between french and german.. i'd say toss a coin

in fact even better advice - which country would you rather go to on holidays.

  • They say German is the one to learn for business, but it's more usual for Germans to speak fluent English than French people. I'd say either one would be useful. I get a lot of use out of my French in all kinds of situations.
