Has anyone drove in Maui,Hawaii?? What is it like-any advice?? We have never driven in a foreign country before and are a bit anxious about it. Are the roads very busy?

Maui is very quiet and easy enough to drive around. I was used to driving on the mainland in America where there are 4 lanes of traffic and cars coming at you from all angles but I don't even know if there's a duel carriageway on Maui? I find driving in America quite manageable anyway but Maui was certainly the easiest. It would be a good place to start if you've never driven on the 'wrong side of the road' before.

I was staying at Kaanapali and it took about 40 minutes I think to drive from the airport. There's a lovely drive up to an old volcano (can't remember name) which was a spectacular drive and well worth doing.
