    OK, so...

I was on here some months ago discussing this, plus I have been looking at previous posts discussing computer forensics in Ireland and most go back as far as 2005!

So is anybody aware of any new prospects in this area of work within Ireland and the current state of it?

I posted on here a while back discussing this, looking for work and there was nothing, since then I have been employed in the UK doing computer forensics for the police for about 5 months, however due to family / relationship problems I have to come back to Ireland to be around my son ( he OK, just split up with his mother and I want to be around for him growing up, he's only 16months and I can't bare not to be close to him) anyway, deep breaths :( So I need to get back.
I have been speaking to some people and have been told there is a forensic department in Dublin castle / courts and that a non Garda is working there??? And then i heard there is supposed to be a new computer forensic company or unit opening in Carlow ( taking it with a pinch of salt as can't find anything on google)
So any info or sites worth looking at would be a great help, I just want to be around my son, but can't quit current role as i need to provide for him still!

    Thanks,
    DG.
