Group sms help.

    I'm using mass text messaging app to send my group sms's. The app works perfectly.

    However, with one group there seems to be a problem. When I open up my message inbox there's a red (!) icon beside the sms that I sent. When i click it i get the "your message was not sent. Tap try again to send this message"

    Can anyone tell me what could be wrong? How do I know if the message sent to some people and not to others? Or is this a case that the message was not sent to anyone as there was a problem with a contacts number perhaps?

    Its kinda annoying as I don't know which contact may not have something wrong with their number details.

    Can anyone shed some light on this for me? :confused:

    why not just use the default messaging app to send group texts?
    is it possible that you had not reception at the time or does this happen often?

    You can't create groups of contacts on the default messaging app! :rolleyes:

    I think what might be happening is that one or two of my numbers in that group I was on about may not be correct so the message is failing to send to them and is sending to the others ok. But the things is, as there's no delivered reports, I don't know which contact(s) might have incorrect number :(

    eh...yea u can, select the people u want manually send a message to them and it will remember that group

    :eek: Really? Must try that out!!

    But I still reckon the problem with the red (!) icon coming up is because one of my contacts has wrong number and I dont know how to find which one. That group contains 89 contacts, so don't know what to do!

    Just checked the default message app....It does'nt really do what the Mass text messaging app does in that it creates a group and allows you to name it etc. I have like 9 different groups with different group names for different towns...so need to know which town I'm sending message to....whereas the default app does'nt allow you to create group names.
