Failing a repeat exam?

So I failed the 1st Science Pass Mathematics summer exam, and repeated the papers there a few weeks ago.

I don't carry over Math's into 2nd year and passed all of my other exams.

While I am cautiously optimistic about passing the repeat, I was just wondering what happens if I don't pass it?

Also I am doing a denominated science.

Would I be able to repeat the Maths exam at the end of 2nd year, or would I be forced to repeat 1st year? :(

I think you have to repeat first year but you'll only have to do the subject you failed AFIAK
