BB5 Fight night

Just came across some links for BB5 fight night. Had to watch it again because of

Michelle and victor coming back into the house on Friday

.

Now THERE was a series where I equally loved and hated many characters at the same time! So much drama. Jeez and poor Stuart, you could just see his face falling when Michelle came back into the house. He thought he'd gotten away from being called "chicken" forever!

Could you image Dave living in the house that night with all the clothes being removed John James would've cacked his pants if he had to face Jason! (however so would I! scary scary man)

Part 3 is where the fight happens - good on Nadia, THATS how you stand up to an intimidating bully. It is a shame that this happened though as it obviously affected all BBs that came after.

I watched it live, legendary night!...when the LF was cut everyone freaked!, DS:BB was on FIRE!

Like 3 full pages of posts in a minute, the WHATM thread was full of theories....it was a monster and electric night i'll never forget!

BB5 was an amazing series, but in some ways it was the nail in BBs coffin...things changed after that, booze for one thing, OFCOM....the put more measures in place, they cut off action before it started.

In addition it was the first series when i realised just how media savvy the housemates were, as in Michelle and having sex in the house + her "no comment" in her interview, "you're saving it for the magazines" Davina said....how right she was.

It was then i realised the housemates were just in it as actors and for the money and mag deals.

^ and if you watched the LF that night BB cut the LF to save it for the highlights!....this incident was also crucial to my cynical outlook on BB. It came back with Saskia saying "that's me up for eviction then".

Yes, I remember that well, it was beyond annoying when Saskia started pointing her finger on LF and then all we got was bird sound and clips of gnomes floating on water for what seemed like an hour :mad:

It'd be way better IMO if they sent her in instead of

tomorrow - the unfolding of the dynamics between her and her old rival Makosi would be great to watch.

I honestly think Saskia would have done alot better if she'd been in any other series but 6, that cast of characters and Maxwell especially brought out the worst in her.

I agree with the poster above. BB died a death after fight night.

I think they are throwing caution to the wind now, and we might see some more action than ever in the next 2 weeks. They've nothing to lose at this stage. Endemol can only gain from it; It's popularity since the opening night of UBB is apparently bringing interest from other TV stations.
