Im a dropper- if it can be dropped i will do it!

Thats one of the reasons Ive always had crap phones, but now I received an iphone 3Gs as a gift so id better look after it.
I only managed to look after ipod mini so well because it was the old one with the metal surround (it did finally give up last week)

Any recommendations for good sturdy protective cases/covers for iphones- preferably one i wont have to remove the phone from before I use it, because as I mentioned earlier- Im a dropper!

None of the free ones will give you dropper-proof protection. Carphone warehouse have good selection and you can "try them on" before you buy.

Not that current, but as its a 3gs, all case would work

Just had a good look at the otterbox ones on amazon and wonder how they would fare out at the bottom of the handbag? i really should have some more screen protection than just a thin layer

Could always add a zagg invisible shield instead of the normal screen protector. Clips on youtube of how good that is against scratches etc.

Otterbox defender is what I have on my iPhone 4, had the same on my 3GS, make the phone bulkier but do save it. No need for an extra screen as the defenders screen is good.
