    Guys,
Not sure if you have seen this but http://www.forumrunner.net/ have an excellent iPhone/iPad application which can be used to browse around forums. It might be a idea to register boards.ie with these guys and then allow your users the option to browse Boards with this application.

The same caveats apply for Forum Runner as for Tapatalk.

We are not running a stock version of vBulletin hence we can't just install plugins without a good bit of work on our end. Also, we have no idea how much impact it would have on the performance of the site.

Installing one of these services may happen at some time in the future, but it's not going to happen any time soon.

Any update on Tapatalk? There's already a good few vBulletin forums there. Is it too much hassle?

We're not really running vBulletin any more.

    Probably.

    That's a very poor response.

So what's being said essentially is that you're running something entirely proprietary and it can't, nor probably will never integrate with anything else!

Things are moving on! We won't always be prepared to keep firing up our browsers to follow forums on here. As it is the site navigation sucks on mobile devices. Please bear this in mind.

That's pretty much true. The plugin system is gone, as are several other parts of vBulletin, so no vBulletin plugin will work without us patching in the code by hand and modifying it to match our modifications. This is only really sensible/viable for small plugins.

We know the full site sucks on mobile devices and that m.boards.ie is a poor substitute.

There is a mobile app in the works. I can't give you an ETA better than "this year" yet though.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
