Apple Bumper

I didn't want to put iPhone 4 in the title as I think we're all sick of the forum being iP4 threads! So anyway... On with my post..

Yesterday my free bumper arrived, it's not bad at all! I'd nearly say I like it, even though I hate cases.. But I have noticed that it puts the phone into sleep sometimes depending if you hold the sides as it presses the power button on the top. I've reset it in a few times but makes no difference.

Anyone else notice this? I don't car enough to send it back or anything :)

Nope - no problem at all. Have you tried taking it off completely and reseating it? Just tried pressing it all sorts of ways and no issues at all

Yeah, I'll see it loosens up over the next couple of days. Cheers dude.

Have had no problems with mine at all, nice and slick, doesn't take away from the phone at all. I still switch though between my bumber, my exspect leather pouch and incase snap cover, depending on the situation.

Which would you find the best looks wise and protection wise? I was wondering if you take the bumper on and off a bit would it loosen out a bit too much as its such snug fit?

I hate using cases but I've had mine on a couple of days to test.

Don't like the way fluff builds up around the sides, but now I'm afraid to take the bastard thing off in case I drop it.

Bumper: Good for having on desk etc and light falls. No screen protection so wouldn't throw it into a sports bag with bumper only on. Annoying dust/fluff build up around edges.

Leather pouch: Great fall protection (half inch leather stitching around three quarters of the phone). Great anonymity in that nobody knows what phone is in the pouch. Other advantage is that you handle/experience the phone as Apple intended. Disadvantage is the way you have to take it out of the pouch to answer a call etc (can lead to fumbling).

Incase Snap: Good coverage including screen protector so 99% protected against keys/scratches. Only adds about 2-3mm of protection to phone so wouldn't want to drop it any more than a naked iPhone. Screen protector takes away from the Retina screen.
